The Department currently offers a full range of certificate, baccalaureate and graduate programs providing the most advanced education for students to begin careers as human service workers, nonprofit administrators, and social workers. The Department currently serves over 500 undergraduate and graduate students.  Faculty members are experienced, enthusiastic and committed teachers who bring a full range of practice and research experience to the classroom. The Department offers a multi-disciplinary education highlighting principles of social justice, family and child welfare, nonprofit governance, and respect for diversity and social change. The Department is also highly committed to students, through one-on-one advising, participatory and interactive teaching, and a variety of departmental student organizations.
