Cherokee County Solicitor General’s Office - Victim Witness Advocate


 

The Cherokee County Solicitor General’s Office has an entry level opening for a victim witness advocate. The position is available beginning April 1, 2014.

The Advocate will be responsible for serving as the primary contact for victims, explaining the judicial process and assisting victims with needs. A bachelor’s degree, criminal background check and drug screening are required. Some experience would be helpful, though not required. Experience gained through an internship is acceptable. This is a grant position. Salary: $31,962.
