Dr. Anne Hicks-Coolick, Ph.D., MSW, is an Associate Professor of Social Work in the Department of Social Work and Human Services at Kennesaw State University. She received a M.Ed. from Georgia State University and a M.S.W. and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia School of Social Work.
For ten years she was the Clinical and Education Coordinator at Mill Springs Academy in Alpharetta, GA a school for youth with learning disabilities. She has also worked in public housing and as a mental health counselor in public mental health.
Dr. Hicks-Coolick’s primary areas of interest are children, youth, their families, and program evaluation. At KSU she teaches Cultural Competency as well as classes in Research and Program Development.
