Dr. Randy C. Hinds
The Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO) provides leadership in the continuing advancement of information and instructional technology. This position oversees the operations on information technology which includes the following areas:

Horace W. Sturgis Library
Mr. Robert Williams, Director

Built in 1981 with over 100,000 feet of space, the library, named after the university's first president Horace W. Sturgis, is designed to support and advance the teaching and learning activities of the greater university community.

Online Learning Services
Dr. Gary Lewis, Director

Online Learning Services supports online learning systems for Kennesaw State University, including Web-based course support, video servers, and systems for providing live and recorded classes over the Internet.

Multimedia Development Group (MDG)
Mr. Karl Aldag, Director

The Multimedia Development Group (MDG) offers a wide range of multimedia services and training for faculty, staff and student, as well as maintaining KSU's multimedia presentation classrooms.

Enterprise Systems and Services
Mr. Wayne Dennison, Director

ESS provides supports for all campus administrative systems, including Web registration and the Banner Student Information System.

Information Technology Services
Ms. Lectra Lawhorne, Director

Information Technology Services provides campus infrastructure in terms of networking, telephones, and wireless connectivity, as well as supporting all desktop/laptop computing on campus.  The KSU Service Desk fields IT related questions and computer training is part of ITS' outreach to the KSU community.  ITS provides enterprise software applications such as email, the Identity Management System, and Wide Area Network file storage as well as academic software applications to the campus and to the computer labs.  The department is responsible for quoting and approving all IT equipment along with IT Project Management to ensure reliability and quality of services provided by ITS. Internet security is also maintained in this department.

Archives and Records Management
Dr. Tamara Livingston, Director

The Department of Archives and Records Management was established in 2004 in order to preserve the history of Kennesaw State University and to oversee the management of the university records.

Human Resources
Mr. Rodney Bossert, Director

This department handles employment, payroll and employee records, employee benefits, classification and compensation, and training information.
