Juanne Greene

Juanne V. Greene
Doctoral Business Administration
Kennesaw State University

Juanne V. Greene joined the faculty of Kennesaw State University in 2002 and is currently a Lecturer in the Coles College of Business.  As a faculty member in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship, she teaches courses in management, communications, human resources, and organizational behavior.  In addition to teaching, Juanne serves as a Coles College academic advisor, Support Faculty Mentor, and faculty co-advisor to Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE).

Prior to beginning her career in higher education, Juanne worked as a consultant and manager at Accenture, a management and technology consulting organization.  While at Accenture, Juanne assisted several clients with their human performance needs, including Blue Cross BlueShield, BellSouth, Scotts, and International Paper.  Juanne also worked for GE Capital as a human resource specialist.  While at GE Capital, she focused on employee relations, recruitment, and organization design.

Juanne is currently pursuing a Coles College Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from Kennesaw State University.  She obtained a master degree in labor and human resources from The Ohio State University and earned her bachelor degree in marketing from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical (A&T) State University.  She is originally from Richmond, Virginia and has lived in Atlanta for 12 years.

Linda Gay
Nurse Practioner Program
Kennesaw State University

Linda Gay moved to Marietta from South Carolina in 1997.  She graduated in 1982 with an Associate’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina.  In 2005, Linda Gay completed her BSN at Kennesaw State University.

Linda is married to William Gay and has three daughters.  She worked as an RN for over 25 years in various areas including Emergency Room, Surgical Intensive Care, Recovery Room, Home Health and Hospice, and School Nursing. Currently she is the Itinerant Nurse for the Cobb County School System administering nursing care to elementary, middle, and high school students.  In the fall she plans to enter the education arena and teach nursing at one of the University of Georgia’s College of Nursing.  In fall 2009 she plans to enroll in KSU’s Nurse practitioner program.  Upon completion of the program Linda Gay intends to pursue a medical mission trip to Honduras as a nurse practitioner.

Linda is active in Life Teen and the Youth Middle School Ministry at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia, Cobb County youth and high school cheerleading coach, MUST Ministries active volunteer, UGA cheerleading Booster Club Board Member, and a Health Student of American HOSA advisor.

Helen M. Cauley

Helen M. Cauley
Masters in Professional Writing Program

A native of Philadelphia, Helen M. Cauley earned a journalism degree from Temple University and worked in public relations. She relocated to Atlanta in 1990, where she has been a full-time freelance writer. Her work has appeared regularly in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Sunday Paper, the Atlanta Business Chronicle and other local and national publications. She is the author of three travel guides to Atlanta and is the restaurant reporter for WGST-640  AM's The Morning Drive with Randy Cook. She is also the exceedingly proud parent of a son and daughter.

Victor Marshall
Doctoral Business Administration
Kennesaw State University

Victor Marshall is currently a Lecturer of Management for the Department of Management and his career at BellSouth, and has continued to focus on customer focused process improvement in his new career, winning the University System of Georgia Chancellor’s 2007 Gold Award for
Outstanding Customer Service Improvement Initiative for improving the scheduling of classes for the Coles College of Business to better meet student needs and preferences. Since that time, Victor has also worked with other colleges at Kennesaw State University to improve their development of course section schedules utilizing a Data Driven Decision Making (D3M) framework. Victor was also accepted into the inaugural cohort of the Coles Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) where he is focusing his doctoral studies in the field of Operations Management – focusing on supply chain management and process improvement.

Victor and his wife Jane, who married in college, live in Marietta, Georgia. Their two oldest sons, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters all live in the Atlanta metro area; and their youngest son is currently a student at the University of South Carolina.

 

Herb Mattord

Herbert Mattord, M.B.A., CISM, CISSP completed 24 years of IT industry experience before joining the faculty at Kennesaw State University in 2002. He was the Manager of Corporate Information Technology Security at Georgia-Pacific Corporation, where much of the practical knowledge found in this textbook was acquired. He is currently on the Faculty at Kennesaw State University where he teaches undergraduate courses in Information Security, Data Communications, and Local Area Networks, and he is the co-author of several books published by Course Technology and an active researcher in information security management topics.

Maryan (Beth) Rogers
Doctoral Teaching Mathematics
Georgia State University


Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Beth graduated from HV Jenkins High School in 1993.  Upon graduation, she attended Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, and completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics in Secondary Certification in 1997 and her master’s degree in Middle Grades Mathematics in 1999.  After teaching middle school in Macon and Savannah for 3 years, Beth moved to Atlanta to pursue her doctoral degree.  Currently, she is finishing her coursework and preparing to start the dissertation process.  Beth lives in Marietta with her husband, David and their daughter.
