Economic Growth of the Black Family

Pi Phi Programs have included:

Annual Welcome Back Cookout
Students at KSU were able to enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drink for a small donation and extra with an additional dollar. They are also given a "Welcome Back Kit" full of everything they may need to survive college. Items included free Chick-Fil-A coupons, maps, financial aid brochures, and candy.

Pi Phi's Princess at the Prom
Received Kennesaw City Council Proclamation and featured in the Marietta Daily Journal
Pi Phi sent out applications to females at Campbell High School in search of a "Princess for the Prom." A winner was selected based on merit, campus and community involvement, and a personal essay. The winner was treated to a dinner with Pi Phi members as well as a sponsorship check to purchase all items necessary to attend prom.

Book Drive
Pi Phi collected books all semester long and donated them to the local Kennesaw library, part of the Cobb County Public Library System. More than 2 full boxes were donated by many students and faculty at KSU. The Cobb County Library System will use the books at libraries and those they cannot will be sold and used to purchase new books for the library.
