The Asia club’ mission is to promote Asian culture in formal and informal settings on the KSU Campus. The Asia club strives to unite all students interested in Asia, with a particular responsibility for providing a welcoming and inclusive support system for students of Asian heritage. Asia club is dedicated to increasing East-West understanding in the 21st Century, encouraging the involvement of students of Asian heritage in campus leadership and service and advancing Asian heritage outreach in the state of Georgia. We also want to provide academic and professional resources to students interested in a career in Asia. Asia students are 56% of total international students in the state of Georgia for last year. According to the 2002-2003 school year, KSU have more than 350 Asia students enrolled in KSU. This year the number of Asia students are increasing greatly. There is a great need to understand the Asian culture and to appreciate the diversity on KSU campus. |
