Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington D.C. on January 9, 1914. From its inception, the founders conceived Phi Beta Sigma as a mechanism to deliver services to the general community. In order to accomplish the Fraternity's objectives, it is essential that systems be instituted that effectively embodies "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity" and promotes Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.
