The mission of the KSU Academy for Inclusive Learning and Social Growth is to provide an inclusive post-secondary opportunity for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Supportive Research:

• Students see further education as an important step toward career success
• Post-secondary education allows students to develop, marketable skills they cannot normally acquire otherwise
• People with disabilities with even less than four years of post-secondary education are employed at double the rate of those with just a high school diploma
• Earnings for people receiving post-secondary education services are consistently higher over time than for those not receiving such services
• People who received post-secondary education services were less likely to be receiving SSI and SSDI income supports
