- Annual Comprehensive Gynecological Exams
At the KSU Health Clinic, a comprehensive gynecological exam includes all of the following:
- Full Physical Exam
- Urinalysis
- Hemoglobin screening
- Pap Smear
- Screening for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV
- Breast Exam
The charge for the Comprehensive Gynecological Exam is $40.
Birth Control Refill Line
If you are currently taking birth control pills prescribed and filled by the KSU Health Clinic, you can call 678-797-2339, follow the instructions and leave a message. Your refill will be waiting for you at the check out desk. Failure to follow the instructions will result in your refill being delayed and/or not filled.
Adult Immunizations (there is a fee associated with all immunizations)
- Tetanus/Diphteria
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella
- Flu
- Hepatitis B
- Meningitis
- Varicella, Hepatitis A and Travel immunizations
Routine Allergy Injections (there is a fee associated for all routine injections)
- Routine allergy injections as prescribed by your health care provider.
- Cost of injections is $60 per semester or per vial if more than one vial is used per semester.
Injections are given between the hours of 9am and 2pm Mon-Fri. If you are a new allergy patient to the clinic, you must make an appointment and sign our allergy form to receive your injections at the clinic.
Laboratory Testing (there is a fee associated with all lab tests)
- Full range of laboratory testing
- We do not do ANY drug testing
Health Education
- In collaboration with the KSU Wellness Center, the KSU Health Clinic provides information including smoking cessation, drug use and abuse, nutrition, exercise and other health promotion/maintenance issues.
Feed The Future
The Health Clinic in conjunction with Staff Senate run the Feed the Future Program. The clinic has a small stock of food for students who may be struggling between paychecks/financial aid checks. The clinic's Social Worker, Tao Bartleson, is available to students to discuss social programs and prescription assistance that may be available to them.
The clinic accepts donations of the following items to support our student population:
Cheerios
Peanut butter and jelly
Crackers
Tuna
Chicken noodle soup
Macaroni and cheese
Pasta and pasta sauce
Canned vegetables (corn, peas and green beans please)
Canned fruit
Donations are accepted anytime the clinic is open. Please leave your name and department if staff/faculty and if you are student, leave us your name and organization if any.
For monetary donations, you can donate through the Kennesaw Fund and designate the funds go to Feed the Future.
