To make sure that online learning is for you, please check out the Web page Find out if Online Learning is for you and read carefully and take the Assessment surveys. Also read the Frequently Asked Questions. If you are sure you want to take an online course, here are your Orientation Materials .

It is important that you read these instructions carefully. Most of the problems that new students experience are--because they didn't take time to read the instructions.

Getting Started

  1. If you are taking a course for credit - Click on Course Schedule to make sure you understand the dates for your course you are enrolled.
  2. Five to Seven days before your course starts, you will need to complete the IZIOPro Tutorial (called Job Aids )
  3. Go to http://kennesaw.on.izio.com on this Web page look for a box with a question mark . Click on this box.
  4. You will be taken to "Job Aids". The two tutorials you need to complete are General Account Activities and Course Participant Activities .

Here is some information that will be helpful to you as you complete the Job Aids

  • University ID - Just use any four numbers
  • University e-mail address - Use ONLY your KSU email address in your registration.
(Hint: make sure you type this in correctly, because your official login & password will be emailed to you. When students complain that they never received this information, 100% of the time , it is because they didn't type in the correct email address!!)
  • Contact Phone Number - Use either a day or night time number.
  • Desired Login - I recommend your first initial, last name, & all lower case.
  • Our university login web site - http://kennesaw.on.izio.com
  • ****Register for a New Course**** - You have already registered for your course with the university or Continuing Education, now you must "register" for the course in the IZIO system:
    • Login to your IZIO account using your login name and password.
    • On the left side of the page you will see a blue tool bar that has "home" "course" "logout."
    • Click on the "course" tab and you will see a statement that "you do not have any current courses"
    • Click on the "Add new" button.
  • Department - all courses will be under "School of Nursing", "Dept of Biology and Physical Science" for BIOL 3317, or "Center for Professional Development" for Nurse Refresher Nurs 100 .
  • Sections - Most faculty do not use this feature, they simply divide students into groups after they are in the IZIO classroom. If it says "default" just click on it. If you are given a choice of sections, just choose one.
  • If you make a mistake while getting your Login, please, please do not go back and click on "New Registration" again. This can cause all kinds of problems. Just email me jbrannan@kennesaw.edu  and I'll help you get it straightened out.
