The WellStar School of Nursing offers the Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and the Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. The Wellstar School of Nursing provides high quality educational opportunities for:
- Beginning baccalaureate nurses for entry into practice (a traditional 4-year program);
- Second degree accelerated baccalaureate students (for persons with baccalaureate degrees or higher in other fields);
- Registered nurses returning for the baccalaureate degree (RN-BSN track)
- And advanced practice master’s students prepared as nurse practitioners, clinical leaders, or nurse educators.
The WellStar School of Nursing faculty and staff are committed to meeting the nation’s healthcare needs by preparing nurses with critical thinking skills, clinical competence, compassion and professional commitment in order to tackle the diverse range of issues that impacts the quality of healthcare provided to the citizens of the State of Georgia and beyond. Additionally, once you have completed formal coursework and degrees, you will have the opportunity to further your career through non-credit courses offered through the Center for Professional Development.
