Learning Resource Center

The KSU Nursing Learning Resource Center is a multifunctional state of the art teaching and learning laboratory which comprises over 17,000 sq. feet.  The center consists of three fully functional mockup hospital wards equipped with mannequins to simulate a clinical setting.  Two complete physical assessment pseudo clinics with separate classroom seating. Eleven high fidelity simulation rooms with adjoining faculty managed control/debriefing rooms. Additionally, numerous private student study/work rooms are available supplied with audio-visual equipment.  Students of all levels benefit from a dynamic environment that provides an excellent opportunity for independent learning, self and mediated instruction, computer based instruction, simulation experiences and testing.  Faculty guide students as they enhance their proficiency with nursing care while providing opportunities for learning in the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains.
