Traditional Baccalaureate Program


General Core Requirements

 

All KSU students must complete certain core classes before being able to graduate with any Bachelor's degree. These courses can be taken before, during, or after acceptance and completion of the BSN program, but all courses must be completed before you can graduate with a BSN degree.

 

Transfer students and students who already hold a degree in another field may already meet some or all of these general core requirements. If you think this might be the case for you, please contact an advisor to discuss the matter.

 

KSU General Core requirements are:

 

  • ART 1107 or MUSI 1107 or TPS 1107 or DANC 1107 Fine Arts
  • AADS 1102 or AMST 1102 or COM 1109 or FL 1002  or GWST 1102 or LALS 1102 or PAX 1102 or PHIL 2200 or RELS 1102 (Humanities)
  • ECON 1100 Economics
  • ENGL 2110 World Literature
  • HIST 1110 World History
  • HIST 2112 American History
  • HPS 1000 Wellness Concepts
  • POLS 1101 American Government
  • General Elective
  • General Elective
