Advanced Care Management Leadership, Certificate in Nursing Education Leadership


This certificate option is designed to provide nurses who already have a master’s degree with the credentials to expand their scope of practice and prepare them to sit for the National League for Nursing Nurse Educator certification exam.  This option also provides an opportunity for nurses currently enrolled in a master’s program to expand their career opportunities through the addition of education courses. 

 

Certificate in Nursing Education Leadership Curriculum (13 credit hours)

This is a hybrid program that includes both face-to-face class time and online assignments.


NURS 7751 Curriculum Design & Evaluation in Nursing Education (3 credits)

Admission Requirements


Students will be considered for admission to a certificate program if they meet the qualifications for the MSN-Advanced Care Management & Leadership program and/or by permission from the Associate Director of the MSN programs, are already enrolled in a graduate program in the University System of Georgia, or already a graduate from either the WellStar Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program, or the Advanced Care Management Leadership concentration in Nursing Administration and Health Policy.
