Sherry GrableSherry Grable joined the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness on January 2, 1997 from the Butler County Health Department in southeast Missouri where she served as a multi-county health educator. Sherry has been in the health promotion field for over 10 years. She holds BS degree from Southeast Missouri State University in health management with an emphasis in health promotion and minors in exercise science and marketing. She completed her M.Ed. in Health Promotion and Behavior from University of Georgia in the Spring of 2001.
Sarah BrooksSarah Brooks joined the Center for Health Promotion and Wellness full time in October of 2002. She has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health Promotion from Kennesaw State University. Go OWLS! Sarah is currently working on her MA in Health Studies (Health Promotion) from the University of Alabama. For over 5 years, Sarah has managed both the KSU Wellness Center and Wellness Works: Employee Fitness Center. She has many opportunities to help educate and improve the quality of life among all students and employees. Working closely with the Wellness Staff, several programs are implemented each semester covering various health topics for the campus community. All programs and events cover the six dimensions of wellness: Physical, Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Occupational and Spiritual. Please come and join the Wellness Staff and "Commit to Being Fit!"
Dacia DavisDacia Davis joined the team as our Coordinator for the Peer Health Education Program in October 2006. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Public Health with a Concentration in Community Health Education from the University of Tennessee. Ms. Davis has experience working in the private/public, nonprofit, and international sectors in several capacities. Her recent experience was with the Highlands County Health Department in Sebring, FL as the County Health Educator. Kelly SchriverKelly Schriver joined the Wellness Center in January 2007 as a registered and licensed dietitian. Originally from Fairfax County, Virginia, Kelly graduated from James Madison University with both a Bachelor of Science Degree in dietetics and a Master of Science Degree in health sciences. Kelly has a wide variety of experience in the nutrition and health promotion field, having worked as a clinical and health promotion dietitian at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. and as Program Director for the Southeast Dairy Association. Kelly is a member of the American Dietetic Association and its state and local affiliate in Atlanta and actively works with coalitions dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles in Georgia. Kelly is President for the Georgia Dietetic Association.
