Winston Mattox, B.S. in Communication, May 2007

Producing, directing, writing, designing webpages, speaking and presenting are all in a day’s work for Winston Mattox. Mattox heads up Infinite Public Relations, a public relations firm that focuses on interested companies and their target audiences to help them decide how to promote products or services. He is also an organizer of Knightlife Pictures, the art department creating the visual aspects of Infinite PR's campaigns.

Mattox graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Kennesaw State University in May 2007. He originally followed the Media Studies concentration in the major; however, after taking Introduction to Mass Communication with Mr. Gray, Mattox considered the possibility of switching to the Public Relations concentration. After a PR course during the summer and with 12 years experience in the media field before attending KSU, he decided to try a new communication direction, and Public relations became his official concentration.

Now Mattox stays busy serving the businesses in the Atlanta area with his Public Relations company. As far as his attachment to Kennesaw State, Mattox remains fond of the faculty. “The KSU faculty was great,” he says, citing past professors such as Emily Holler, Dr. Cummins, and Dr. Charles Aust among a few of his many favorite and most helpful instructors.
