The Department of Communication's Digital Media Lab: Facilitating creative breakthroughs in audio/visual storytelling across a multimedia spectrum.

Located on the 5th floor of the Social Sciences Building, the Digital Media Lab is, and always will be, a work in progress, focusing on a variety of digital technology in relation to both video and audio productions. Besides a state-of-the-art Audio Production Booth, it provides 11 Dual-Core desktop Macs and 15 Mac laptops that boast Final Cut Pro and Adobe Audition as well as creative suites such as Photoshop. In addition, it has miniDV Field Production equipment.

In the Lab, the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge technologies is offered with a true encouragement to view these technologies as tools, and not just an end in themselves.

The Digital Media Lab is a place for critical thinking and hands-on engagement to blend into a new and highly educational experience.
