Emily Holler is an Instructor of Communication and the Public Speaking Coordinator. Most semesters, she teaches multiple sections of Public Speaking. She estimates she has evaluated over 10,000 speeches in over one hundred communication courses! Each fall at Kennesaw State University, Emily teaches in the nationally recognized learning community program supporting the first-year experience.


Emily earned her Master of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University in Speech Communication. She is the author of the supplementary materials for the Public Speaking course at KSU and has co-authored journal articles in the Iowa Journal of Communication and The Journal of Learning Communities Research. Prior to Emily’s teaching experience beginning in 2000, she worked as a publicity manager for the sports and fitness publisher, Human Kinetics. With a special interest in Health Communication, Emily earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from Georgia State University in 2008.
