Dr. Amber Hutchins
Assistant Professor of Communication

Amber Hutchins joined the Department of Communication faculty in 2007 as an assistant professor in the public relations concentration. She received a Ph.D. in Communication from The University of Utah and a Master of Mass Communication degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. She has worked in several areas of public relations including corporate and health care. Her research interests include public relations and journalism ethics, media analysis and criticism, and social media. As of Fall 2008, she is the faculty advisor for Kennesaw State University's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
