Greetings from Dean Barbara Calhoun
A Second Chance
Now that we’ve ushered in a new year, let’s talk about resolutions. Did you make any for 2014, or were they just temporary thoughts?
The best resolution you can make is to constantly improve yourself – physically, mentally, financially, professionally and any other areas you want to develop. Just ask Moises Arroyo, a young man who wanted to improve his language skills. With our English as a Second Language courses, this student has been able to do what he thought was the impossible.
Read more about this story on page 34 of our Spring 2014 Catalog.
Let his story motivate you! Our students motivate us at the College of Continuing and Professional Education, so let us move you in the right direction. Remember, it’s never too late for a fresh start.
From Human Resources to Hospitality and Accounting to Administrative, we can provide the tools you need to move forward with your personal and professional objectives. If you missed our winter Career Training Expo, mark your calendars for July 31 for our summer open house! We have so much more in store for you!
However, our doors are always open to you at any time. Come see us, and we’ll make this your best year yet.
