The TESOL Certificate Program from Kennesaw State University’s College of Continuing and Professional Education has been preparing students for over 12 years to become successful instructors of English.

The 120-hour training program focuses on the four courses that are the foundation for TESOL and TEFL. Dozens of invaluable resources are provided within the online platform, to Internet-based data, video and alternative, ongoing free resources for student’s use.

Required courses are available on Saturdays and Online:

  1. Elements of Linguistics and Language Acquisition
  2. Issues of Culture and Language
  3. Teaching Grammar
  4. Methods and Materials for Teaching ESOL

*Eligible for MyCAA benefits (online and classroom), GI/VA benefits (classroom only)

*Required textbooks are additional. All texts are the responsibility of the student.

Students who wish to receive PLUs for a TESOL course must submit the online notification form upon registration.  After successfully completing the course(s), students will receive an email containing a link to the PLU affidavit.  A separate affidavit must be received for each course before PLU paperwork can be processed.

Your PLU paperwork cannot be processed until we receive your affidavit. Please submit this form(s) as soon as possible after successfully completing the course, to ensure that you receive your PLU paperwork in a timely manner.
