Do you ever wonder why you seem to "click" with some people, but can't seem to communicate well with others? We all have a primary "style" of communication. In other words, we have preferred behaviors that we feel comfortable in using when we communicate with others. Our communication style relates to "how" we communicate rather than "what" we are talking about. When our style conflicts with the style of another person, communication can break down.
The Center for Conflict Management is offering a Communication Styles program taught by Ron Remillard, who also teaches Loud and Clear: Managing Interpersonal Interactions for the Center. Ron is an expert in the skills and processes to ensure efficient and effective communication.
In this program, you will be able to:
- Identify your own preferred style of communication.
- Differentiate four primary styles of communication.
- Build your versatility in communicating with others who have differing styles of comunication.
