Taught by nationally and internationally recognized KSU faculty and conflict resolution professionals, this course provides African judges and attorneys with a comprehensive, practical introduction to alternative dispute resolution, sharpens their skills in mediation, and promotes the development of a strong disposition toward conflict resolution. Through role-plays and simulation exercises, participants will engage in the cultural and historical practice of mediation in African countries. In addition, they will tour a local court system, visit court-annexed and private mediation practices, and learn valuable communication and dispute resolution skills. Participants will leave ready to become professional mediators and to advocate for the institutionalization of conflict resolution in their countries. This course will be held at Kennesaw State University, August 11-15, 2014. Registration is $2,950.00.

The total cost for the ADR/Mediation Training Program is $2,950. Payment is due at the time of registration. The registration fee covers:

Participants are responsible for booking their own air transportation. Transportation to/from the Atlanta airport will be provided by Econorides (678-218-7170). The Center for Conflict Management will provide letters of invitation, but participants are responsible for the visa process and fees. If you have special needs, please contact us by August 1, 2014.
Cancellations before Monday, July 28, 2014 will receive a full refund. Cancellations from July 29-August 4, 2014 will be assessed at $500 administrative fee.
