The Shining STAR award is awarded monthly to KSU staff and faculty who
was have gone "above and beyond" in their delivery of customer service to
KSU constituents. This customer service delivery is evaluated using five
customer service commitments: Courteous, Responsive, Knowledgeable,
Accessible and Helpful. Nominations are solicited each month for individuals
who have provided exceptional service in meeting these commitments and one
nominee is selected to receive the award. The award presentation is made during a
staff meeting and the winner is subsequently pictured below. Monthly Shining Star winners are invited to the annual
Customer Service luncheon in October and have an opportunity to be
recognized by the Customer Service Council as Shining STAR of the Year.
