| Outstanding Faculty Recognized at Opening of the University ceremonies
The Kennesaw State University Foundation awarded more than $193,000 in cash and stipends on August 12, 2009 to outstanding faculty, including the prestigious 2009 Distinguished Professor Award. Bagwell College of Education faculty receiving awards included
Dr. Kimberly S. Ligon, associate professor of adolescent education received the Tommy & Beth Holder Faculty Award.
Dr. Alice Terry, Associate Professor of Social Studies Education was awarded the Bagwell College of Education’s Foundation Prize for publications or creative activity. This is Dr. Terry’s third time to win this prestigious award for the College.
Dr. Thomas Brown, Associate Professor of Science Education and winner of the 2009 Graduate College Distinguished Teaching Award was a Finalist for the University Distinguished Teaching Award.
