Options for Learning Chalk and Wire

There are several different ways you can learn to use the Chalk and Wire ePortfolio Assessment System. Ask your professors which of these options they recommend for your particular program area.

• In-class training (your professor will provide an initial overview of Chalk and Wire)
• Out-of-Class Sessions (small group sessions offered throughout the semester that are not connected to a specific course or program)
  
• Summer 2009 Student Training Sessions & Dates (PDF)
• Training Agenda (DOC)
• Independent Learning (Using the C&W student help directory)

Technical Support for Chalk and Wire

If you have questions about how to use Chalk and Wire within your program, please direct those to your professors. Your professors will also serve as the initial point of contact for other Chalk and Wire questions such as how to activate and login to your account, how to create electronic portfolios etc. If your professor is unable to answer your question, you can then contact the PTEU Chalk and Wire Technical Support Team via email at chalkandwirehelp@kennesaw.edu When emailing a help request, please be sure to include specific information about the problem you are having such as:

• your name, email address and phone # where we can contact you,
• your major,
• the class in which you are using Chalk and Wire,
• exactly what the problem is and any error messages you've received.

This will enable us to more effectively and efficiently help you resolve the problem.
