Taking Teaching and Learning Seriously
The Elementary and Early Childhood Department (EECE) of the Bagwell College of Education at Kennesaw State University is seeking manuscripts for the journal Taking Teaching and Learning Seriously(TTLS). This journal focuses on all aspects of instruction. Practical teaching strategies and classroom research articles are both of interest. Each research article should begin with a brief abstract or summary. Manuscripts should not exceed 15 double-spaced pages. All submissions are read and reviewed by selected members of the review board and the editorial staff.
Submissions should be typed and double-spaced with a font size of 12, written in Times New Roman. Manuscripts should adhere to the stylistic specifications of the American Psychological Association. They should not include footnotes (endnotes are allowed). Permission must be obtained for copyrighted material from any other source. Submissions should include two disks with the manuscript typed on Word. We encourage you to include hypertext for citations within articles. Additionally, we welcome quality digital pictures and video clips with brief explanatory captions to accompany articles. Send five copies of the manuscript with one cover page giving the author's name and address, along with other contact information (fax number, telephone number, and email address). Also include one copy of a brief statement of your professional experience. For blind review purposes, the author’s name and contact information should not appear on the reviewers’ four copies of this manuscript. Be sure to include an email address if you wish to be contacted about receipt of the manuscript. Manuscripts will not be returned. We will often provide feedback through electronic mail. If we accept the manuscript, we may request a copy of it through electronic mail. This journal is published once a year, and the deadline for submission is May 15.
