MASTER OF EDUCATION IN ADOLESCENT EDUCATION
Admissions Requirements:
- Obtain and submit a paper copy of your GRE (General) or MAT score.
Make sure your official results are sent to KSU upon completion
(School Code: 5359). Although there is not a minimum score, your GRE or MAT scores will be considered in the competitive review process.

- Obtain and submit a copy of your valid teaching certificate (clear renewable)
in Middle Grades or Secondary Education in the concentration you are applying for.
To print a copy of your clear, renewable certificate, you may log onto www.gapsc.com.
- Obtain and submit a Personal Statement (1-2 pages) describing your beliefs about education at the middle grades or secondary level and your professional goals relative to the Master of Education in Adolescent Education.

- Obtain and submit TWO Letters of Recommendation that address your success in teaching, ability for success
in graduate studies, and commitment to adolescent learners.
These recommendations should be on school or business letterhead.
- Obtain and submit a Professional Resume documenting education, teaching experience, and record of leadership. One to three years of teaching experience is preferred.
- Read and sign the Candidate Signature Form and include in your packet.
