MASTER OF EDUCATION IN
INCLUSIVE EDUCATION: TESOL
(for previously certified teachers only)
Admissions Requirements:
- Obtain and submit your Official GRE (General Test).
Although there is not a minimum score, your GRE scores will be considered in the competitive review process. For more information on the GRE, please refer to www.ets.org.
- Obtain and submit a copy of your Georgia Teaching Certificate
(clear renewable only). To print a copy of your Georgia clear,
renewable certificate, you may log onto www.gapsc.com.
- Obtain and submit a Professional Statement (directions provided in form)
documenting education, teaching experience, record of leadership, and
service to the professional community.
- Obtain and submit TWO Letters of Recommendation that addresses your success in teaching and ability for success in graduate degree studies.
These recommendations should be on school or business letterhead.
- Obtain and submit a Professional Resume.
- An interview may be required with Dr. Karen Kuhel, Program Coordinator of TESOL. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Kuhel via email at kkuhel@kennesaw.edu.
- It is advisable for candidates to be employed, at least part time, as a teacher in a public or private school.
