Toni Strieker, Ph.D.
Professor of Inclusive Education and Literacy

Curriculum Vita

Toni Strieker is a Professor of Inclusive Education and Literacy in the Department of Secondary and Middle Grades Education at Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 1997, Dr. Strieker has served on the graduate faculty, teaching courses in literacy and special education. From 1998-2005, Dr. Strieker directed Project WINS, a statewide school improvement initiative charged with helping schools include students with a full range of disabilities in general education classrooms. She has authored numerous chapters and articles on classroom and administrative practices in inclusive education. Recently she has expanded her research interest to the areas of collaboration and co-teaching, literacy coaching and other types of embedded professional development. Dr. Strieker lives in Roswell with her husband, Ron. They have two adult sons.
