Several courses use the electronic portfolio system developed by the KSU Career Services Center called the Online Career Portfolio (OCP).
You will need to submit the Request to Use the OCP form at the beginning of each semester if you plan to use the OCP within your course. Typically, Karen Andrews will email information and a copy of the current OLCP Request form along with several reminders throughout the first few weeks of the semester.
You may wish to check with other faculty in your program area to determine if your prgram uses the OLCP and if you need to request access for your courses.
Depending on your responsibilities for the electronic portfolio within your department, you may be asked to serve as the Archivist. If so, you will need to complete the Archivist Registration Form. Karen Andrews or a member of the OCP Support Team will contact you regarding any additional training needed for the archivist.

- WebCT (Online Course Management System) - Uses NetID
WebCT is currently the KSU Online Course Management System. Pilot courses are being offered using WebCT Vista and Moodle, but WebCT 4.0 remains the campus standard at this point. Many of our faculty utilize WebCT to provide supplemental resources for our face-to-face courses.
If you plan to use WebCT for your courses, you will need to complete the Request a WebCT Course for each course and section prior the opening of the semester. Try to allow at least a week for the Online Learning Services to create your courses.
As part of the course setup, students officially enrolled in each course section will be uploaded into your WebCT course. The WebCT server syncs with Banner each night so your roster should reflect changes that occur during drop/add.
KSU and the Bagwell College of Education are fortunate to have a number of technology enabled classrooms available within Kennesaw Hall and across campus. If you need access to more technology than is available within the classroom where you are assigned, you may need to reserve a computer lab. Kennesaw Hall has the LTC ( Learning Technologies Center ) which is an open student lab, but can also be reserved for whole class instruction. In addition, there are 3 teaching labs belonging to the Educational Technology Training Center that can also be requested. Use the steps below whenever you need to make a lab request.

Groupwise Email
All official communication with students must be done using the KSU Groupwise Email.
Email is an essential mode of communication within the KSU Professional Teacher Education Unit. As a KSU Faculty, University Supervisor or a Supervising Master Teacher, you are expected to activate and then access your Groupwise email frequently. Critical information will be communicated using Groupwise rather than private email accounts.
Effective Fall 2004, all official university communication with students is done through the KSU Student Email system. As a result, full-time and part-time employees are also encouraged to use the Groupwise email as their primary email address when communicating with students.
Your Groupwise email address is yournetid@kennesaw.edu . Groupwise email is available via the Groupwise Client installed on campus computers or online at http://www.greatowl.kennesaw.edu
Online Access -

Technical Support Options
KSU has a variety of options for you to get technical support. Within each College at KSU there is a Technical Support Specialist who serves as a front line support person. Below you will find a list of Technical Support contacts for each of the PTEU Colleges.
Please keep in mind that each of these support specialists are very busy. For account and login issues, please try to use the following self support options when ever possible.
Option 1:
First, use the “Forgot Your Password” link which is typically available from each login screen. Try to login again, if unsuccessful, try option 2.
Option 2:
Send an email to service@kennesaw.edu requesting for your NetID password to be reset. Be sure to include your Name, NetID, and KSU# in the email to facilitate a quicker response. You should receive an email from one of the service representatives regarding what to do next. If you are still unable to login, or do not have access to email, try option 3.
Option 3:
