Q. May I borrow materials
from TRAC?
A. Yes. All KSU students, faculty and staff may borrow
from TRAC. Those outside of KSU may use TRAC by being a TRAC
member. TRAC membership is free. Check the TRAC policies for
more information.

How do I become a member?
A. When you visit TRAC, ask at the front desk for a
membership form. Simply fill it out, provide a picture
ID, and we will give you a membership card. Bring
this card with you any time you want to use TRAC.
Q. How do I know if you have
a book in TRAC?
A. Our books are catalogued in the KSU library system.
You may access the catalog by going to the main page for
Kennesaw State University and click on Library, or click the
link at the top of this page.
- Once on the library home
page, click on “GIL – KSU’s Library Catalog.”
- When the search box
appears, type in the book you want and click GO. (All
results will be displayed for TRAC and Sturgis.)
- Click the “Post Limit” tab
located in the top corner of the search results.
- The page will read “Narrow
My Search.” Click the down arrow in the second box next to
location and select TRAC.
- Scroll to the bottom of
the page and click Narrow My Search. This will display items
located in TRAC.
Q. How long may I keep
materials?
A. Most books may be kept for 2 weeks. Special items may
be checked out for 1 week. Please see complete borrowing policy
for more information.
Q. May I bring my children
with me to TRAC?
A. No. Children under 16 are not allowed in TRAC. The
ONLY exception to this rule is during book fair. Children are
welcome in our book fair area only at that time.
Q. Is there a charge to use
TRAC?
A. Use of TRAC is free. There is a minimal charge for
materials you may use that we provide. A complete list of
chargeable items is included on our price list.
Q. How do I pay for
materials I use?
A. We accept cash and checks.
Q. What do I do if I don’t
understand how to use a machine?
A. TRAC is staffed by a director, two administrative
associates, and student assistants. Any member of the TRAC team
will be happy to teach you how to use a piece of equipment ---
just ask!
Q. Can I arrange a tour of
TRAC?
A. We’ll be glad to show you around. Just call and set up
