LOCKHEED/TRAC GRANT PROGRAM

General Information:

TRAC awards 2-3 grants per year to TRAC members with exceptional project ideas that will enhance student learning in individual classrooms, whole schools, or other special educational programs. These grants are funded through a generous donation by Lockheed Martin. Grant amounts vary; the average amount awarded is $400.00.

In order to participate in the TRAC grant program,the applicant must have a current membership during the grant program period for that year. The applicant must be a member when the entry is submitted AND must still be a member at the time that the grant is awarded.

Grant proposals are evaluated and a winner is chosen by a committee made up of KSU Professional Teacher Education Unit instructors and area teachers. Winners are notified one week after the selection process. Awards are distributed within 3 months of the selection announcement.

Grant information is mailed to all current TRAC members and is posted on this page as soon as it becomes available each year.
