Curriculum Library
The Curriculum Library in TRAC is a great resource for any
teaching environment. The professional development section of
TRAC’s library houses thousands of titles to help with virtually
every need. There are books on classroom management, curriculum
development, study skills, school leadership, special needs
education, teaching English as a Second Language, subject area
advice, and more! We have
an extensive collection of peer-reviewed, education-related
periodicals and we subscribe to “Teacher’s Mailbox”. Although
most periodicals are not available for check-out, visitors are
welcome to read all articles while visiting TRAC.
In the back corner of the TRAC
library you will find our Activity Books, arranged by subject,
and available for check-out. You are welcome to make copies of
any reproducable materials.
Check out the kits and games
section to find just what your students need to enhance their
classroom learning experience. TRAC offers manipulatives,
educational games, teaching models, musical instruments,
puppets, and more! Students, faculty, staff, and TRAC members
may borrow these items for 1 week at a time. Our list of kits
and games is categorized by the most dominant subject, however
many items may be used for a variety of subjects.
Our Children’s Literature section
houses a large variety of books for all level readers from
picture books to chapter books to novels. We also have a
collection of over 100 Big Books!
To round out our library, TRAC
has a section of student and teacher edition textbooks for every
subject and grade level.
Most of our books are included in KSU’s online library catalog.
Access the catalog from the library link. Look at the location
listed for the title you are interested in to determine if the
book is located in TRAC or the campus library.
TRAC has a large DVD/video library
with over 1000 titles! Browse the shelves or use our directory
to find what you are looking for. From literary adaptations to
professional development films to documentaries, the TRAC
DVD/video Library is bound to have something for your students.
The central area of TRAC has 10
computers with Internet access, a print/copy station, and
spacious tables for studying and working on group projects. We
also have 2 viewing stations to preview DVDs and videos. TRAC
provides wireless access for laptop users, however there is
limited electrical outlet access so we recommend you power your
laptop with a battery.

Workroom
TRAC’s workroom is a fun and
energetic place where creative educators can make things for
their classrooms. The workroom also has equipment to make many
projects:
- Die Cuts: We house over
500 die cut shapes and 6 letter/number sets! Our shapes come
in standard 4” patterns, but we also have mini and
extra-large.
- Electric Die Cut: This
machine will cut your shapes in different sizes. You pick
the shape and size and the machine does the rest!
- Button Maker: Buttons can
be used for rewards, motivators, social issues, campaigns,
student helpers, achievements, birthdays, field trips,
prizes, fund raisers, and much more. You can chose from our
designs or create your own.
*While we stock
button supplies, if you need to make more than 30 at a time,
we ask that you bring your own. You can order in quantity at
www.badgeaminit.com.
- Spiral Binding: This is an
inexpensive and easy way to bind projects and they will open
flat. Use this to bind a class set of booklets, flip books,
classroom publishing, or research papers. Binder sizes range
from ¼ inch that hold up to 25 pages to 1 ½ inch that holds
up to 300 pages.
- Unibinding: With the
Unibind method your publications will look sleek and
professional. You can bind as few as 5 pages or as many as
100. Choose from a variety of mix and match covers for a
look that suits your purpose.
- Art waxer: This is an
excellent option for people who are not allowed to use tape
or staples on the walls at school or work. The art waxer
leaves thin strips of sticky wax to the backs of posters,
fliers, or other flat items allowing them to be stuck and
re-stuck to walls.
- Paper folder: TRAC’s paper
folder is a great way to cut time with a big folding
project. By adjusting the settings you can fold letter or
legal sized paper in 4 different styles. Say good bye to
hours of folding mailings, newsletters, or invitations. Let TRAC’s paper folder do the work for you.
-
Paper cutters: Our slide
cutters are a safe and easy way to cut a straight line every
time!
- Laminators: We have 4
laminators and stock laminate in 3 different weights: 1.5
mil (light), 3.0 mil (medium), and 5.0 mil (heavy). The
lightweight laminate is great for preserving items that will
not be handled excessively. The medium weight is sturdier
and is good for heavier weight papers, and heavy weight is
ideal for items that will endure heavy usage or outdoor
conditions.
- Full-color poster printer:
Our poster printer makes quality posters that you design.
Click on the link below for tips on how to create your
poster for print.
We offer basic supplies for your
projects at a minimal cost. Of course visitors are always
welcome to bring their own supplies if they prefer. For your
convenience TRAC stocks dozens of different, richly colored
construction paper. Our sheets are a generous 12” x 18”. We also
have an assortment of craft paper to create exciting bulletin
board displays and coordinating corrugated borders. We have poly
foam sheets and colorful poster board. See our price list for
current prices.
We also have many supplies for you
to use free of charge while in TRAC. Markers, colored pencils,
glue, glue sticks, staplers, rubber bands, grommets, scissors,
rulers, paper clips, brads, and more.
TRAC accepts cash and checks for payment of supplies.

Print/Copy Station
Use of any print/copy devise on campus requires either a student
ID or guest card, both of which operate like a debit card. Each
print or copy electronically deducts from the dollar amount on
the card. TRAC members can purchase guest cards for $1 at the
kiosk just outside TRAC. Value can be added to the card in $1
increments. Keep in mind that the machine does not give change.
