Dr. Guichun Zong, Associate Professor in the Department of Secondary & Middle Grades Education, is the winnner of the 2008-2009 Georgia Educational Research Association's Distinguished Paper Award! 

Faculty from all USG institutions compete for this yearly award.  An abstract of her paper titled: Developing Preservice Teachers' Global Understanding through Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) Technology is linked.  Dr. Zong will be presenting her research at the annual meeting of American Educational Research Association in San Diego. This will be presented as part of Distinguished Paper session.  Congratulations, Dr. Zong!
