Worker's Compensation

Welcome to KSU! You are a valued member of the KSU team! Because you are so important to our institution, the Office of Personnel Services would like to inform you of your coverage under Kennesaw State University's Worker's Compensation Program.

Worker's Compensation is an accident insurance program that may provide you with medical care, rehabilitation, and income to compensate for lost wages if you receive injuries arising out of and in the course of your employment.

If you are injured on the job, please

stop sign

and report your injury immediately to your supervisor, if possible.

If the supervisor is not available, please notify the KSU Public Safety Team at 770-423-6666. If you are on campus, just use extension 6666.

Our Public Safety Team will assess the situation, document and report your injury, and direct you to the proper medical facilities.

triangle On injuries resulting from work duties, you are NOT to use your personal insurance or your personal physician! There is a list of approved facilities and physicians who participate in our program at no cost to you.

Your contact person for KSU's Worker's Compensation Program is Barbara Green. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this program, please feel free to call 770-423-6032 (x6032 if on campus) between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
