At Home Recycling

Now that we have made a commitment to recycling at KSU, why not continue our efforts at home. Here is some information that can help with your recycling efforts.

Household Recycling (glass, plastic, paper, etc)

Cobb County Solid Waste

The solid waste facility has dumpsters available for recycling of common household goods. There is no charge for this service. The recycle dumpsters are accessible Monday – Friday from (7am- 5pm) and on Saturdays from (9am – 4pm).

Metal Recycling (cans, metal appliances, autos, etc)

Marietta Recycling Center

This facility recycles all types of metal from aluminum cans to appliances to cars. They will pay you for scrap metals. However, any toxic chemicals must be removed first! (No antifreeze, gasoline or Freon, etc.) Their hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 – 5:30 and Saturday 8:00 – 5:00.
