Summer 2014 Build a Web Course Workshop Application and Schedule

The next Build a Web Course Workshop will be offered in the spring of 2015.  The application for this session has not yet been released.

The Project

The Project is an attempt to answer the many requests from faculty who have successfully completed the "Build a Web Course" workshop and wish to update their skills and create more online and hybrid courses. In summer 2014, CHSS Office of Distance Education will offer a workshop called "The Project" that is an online "skills update" workshop. Ten faculty will be accepted for this workshop pilot. Pilot participants will commit to building a complete online or hybrid course by August 15, 2014. In addition, participants will choose and complete nine of 12 available "skills update" online modules on topics such as cloud computing, creating streaming video, and online pedagogy.

Participants are paid $1000 each if certain criteria are met.  Please see the Project website for more information: http://www.kennesaw.edu/elearning/project/The_Project_Website.html.

The deadline for application submission for the Project is April 4, 2014.
