This past year GCTE honored two distinguished teachers as our Teachers of the Year.  Lori Durham from Brunswick High School and Alisa Daniel from Screven County Elementary School received our 2002-2003 Award.  The GCTE Board has opted to recognize teachers from elementary schools, middle schools, secondary schools, and colleges/universities for 2003 –2004.  Please take a moment and nominate a deserving teacher.  These awards are our opportunity to recognize and reward the hard work we all do.  All of us who are passionate about language, literature and teaching share in these awards.
