Certification
In addition to successful completion of the MAT English program, students must pass the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators (GACE) content exam in English (tests 020 and 021). Students are not required to pass this exam to graduate.

Graduation
Most MAT English students graduate during the summer. Students must submit a Petition for Graduation during the semester prior to their intended graduation date. See the KSU Graduation page for more details.
