THE DR. LAURA S. DABUNDO SCHOLARSHIP
AT KENNESAW STATE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH

(English Majors, Men and Women)

The Dr. Laura S. Dabundo Scholarship in English has been established by a local women's book club, Between the Lines, to honor the discussion leader.  Dr. Dabundo extends her infectious love of literature beyond the campus and touches students of all ages.  To honor her and to signify their own appreciation of writing, the members of Between the Lines have agreed to convert their annual dues, which would normally pay an honorarium to Dr. Dabundo, into a scholarship.

The Dr. Laura S. Dabundo Scholarship in English will pay tribute to Dr. Dabundo and assist a deserving student at Kennesaw State University in furthering an appreciation for literature.  The scholarship may be used by the Dr. Laura S. Dabundo Scholar for books.

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must:

A student will be selected at the recommendation of a Scholarship Selection Committee, to be comprised of English Department faculty members (excepting Dr. Dabundo, to avoid any conflict of interest).  The committee will consider an eligible student in the spring semester.  Selection will be announced soon thereafter, and the award will be made the following fall.
