Project Management

Project management is the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

A traditional phased approach identifies a sequence of steps to be completed. In the "traditional approach", we can distinguish 5 components of a project in the development of a project:

* Project initiation stage;
* Project planning or design stage;
* Project execution or production stage;
* Project monitoring and controlling systems;
* Project completion stage.

Enterprise Systems & Services can help you and your department by implementing Microsoft Project. Microsoft Project gives you robust project management tools with the right blend of usability, power, and flexibility, so you can manage projects more efficiently and effectively. You can stay informed and control project work, schedules, and finances, keep project teams aligned, and be more productive through integration with familiar Microsoft Office system programs, powerful reporting, guided planning, and flexible tools.
