CARMICHAEL STUDENT CENTER

The Carmichael Student Center is THE social hub for KSU students and is centrally located on our beautiful campus.

The Department of Student Life is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 10pm; Saturday from 10am to 2pm; and Sunday from 2pm to 9pm.

University Rooms A-E
The Carmichael Student Center University Rooms are located on the first floor are the most popular campus venue due to their size, centralized location, and versatility. Varying air wall and table/chair configurations classify this room as multi-functional.

The best use for the University Rooms are Lectures and Catered Events.

• Food is allowed in the University Rooms
• Maximum occupancy is 400 - Theater, 200 - Classroom, or 300 - 72” Rounds with 10 chairs.
• The University Rooms Audio-Visual systems are Extron-controlled and have varying capabilities.

Rooms A, B, & E

• projection systems and sound amplification with one (1) wired microphone
• capabilities of up to four (4) wireless handheld micro-phones.

Rooms C & D

• Do not have AV capabilities unless grouped with E.
• Podiums and Registration Tables are available for this space.

University Rooms A-E

• Does not have key card access.
• The room will be opened and setup prior to the scheduled beginning time of space reservation.

University Rooms Atrium
This three-story atrium serves as an anteroom to the University Rooms

• Reservations must be made to use this open-access common area.
• It is a multi-functional space and food is allowed.
• The Atrium is an open space and does not require special access privileges.

ST 301

ST 301 is an existing setup conference room located on the third floor of the Carmichael Student Center.

• To access 301, the Student Life Department staff, located in room 274, will unlock it for you.
• Food is allowed
• Maximum occupancy is 20
  

Terrace
The Terrace is located on the West side of the Carmichael Student Center, the Terrace is a miniature amphitheater and flanked by two Corinthian columns. It is an outside space with open access.

• Food is allowed.
• Amplified sound is allowed Monday through Friday from 12:30pm - 1:45pm.
• No AV equipment is installed
• A podium, (1) 6 ft table, 2 chairs, a microphone, and small group PA are available.

Patio
The Patio is bi-level area located outside the Carmichael Student Center on the West side of the Student Center outside Dining Services. It is an outdoor space with tables & chairs.

• No AV equipment is installed
• Amplified sound is allowed Monday through Friday from 12:30pm - 1:45pm.
• A podium, (1) 6 ft table, 2 chairs, a microphone, and small group PA are available.
  

Staff Lounge
The Staff Lounge is an existing setup with 12 tables. This space serves as a staff dining room 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday – Friday

• Food is allowed
• Maximum occupancy is 40.
• No AV equipment is installed in this space.

Available for meetings: 7am to 10am Monday through Friday
after 2pm Monday through Friday
anytime Saturday and Sunday
