Leodelle and Lex Jolley Lodge Scheduling Guidelines

The Leodelle and Lex Jolley Lodge is a very special place on the campus of Kennesaw State University. The Jolley Lodge opened in 1993 on the northwest side of campus as an entertainment and meeting space for events attended by the President, Trustees, Cabinet members and the Deans.

This approximately 6,000 square foot event facility features a catering kitchen and provides two levels of comfortable, attractive, and well-equipped space for receptions, dinners, meetings, and other official campus gatherings.

As the campus has grown over the years, so has the use of The Jolley Lodge. However, in order to properly preserve and maintain this facility, it has become necessary to restrict its usage.

Effective immediately, The Jolley Lodge will be restricted to events sponsored and attended by the President, Trustees, Cabinet members, and/or Deans.

The following guidelines are set forth to ensure the continued quality of the meeting space enjoyed by guests at
The Jolley Lodge.

Upper Level Events

• Events and/or meetings will be limited to those scheduled by the President, Trustees, Cabinet, and/or Deans where they will be present or a part of the program.

• Dinners or receptions requiring the university’s highest level of food service and hospitality.

• Signature/inaugural events.

Lower Level Events

• Seminars or meetings will be limited to those sponsored by the President, Trustees, Cabinet and/or Deans and other distinguished campus visitors.

The Office of University Events will consider meeting requests by other campus departments or groups on a case-by-case basis when appropriate space is not available elsewhere on campus.

Special attention will be paid to the compatibility of events scheduled in the Upper and Lower Levels when meeting times coincide. Upper Level events will take precedence and may preclude the scheduling of any event in the Lower Level.

Where questions arise as to appropriate booking, input will be sought from representatives in the Office of the President and University Events.
