    The Office of University Events, as well as other Kennesaw State University departments, has standards and guidelines for events held at Kennesaw State University. Please see the copy of our Standard Operating Procedures along with instructions for changing or cancelling events.

  • Alcohol

    Kennesaw State University expressly prohibits the use, possession, sale, or distribution of alcoholic beverages on campus by any campus constituency. See this section for the full policy and how exceptions can be permitted.

  • Entertainment/Guest Speakers

    Entertainment

     

    Kennesaw State University has procedures that must be followed in order to provide entertainment at events held on campus. Entertainment can include, but not limited to the following: Guest Speakers, Musical Performances, Tents and Inflatables. In this section we also include information for noise control and generators.

    All decorations and event materials must follow certain regulations including postings around campus. We have some helpful tips, policies, and prohibited items in this section.

    Kennesaw State University is committed to the health and well-being of all members of the KSU community. A smoke/tobacco-free campus means that everyone, including guests, is free to travel and visit anywhere on campus without having to avoid potentially health-hazardous situations.
