Excel is a professional leadership development program for KSU employees, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth in support of the University's mission of teaching, research and service.

OBJECTIVES:

• To provide a concentrated leadership program focusing on managing change, networking, team building, multicultural workplace effectiveness and other topics of relevance to today's higher education workplace.
• To enhance the participants knowledge and understanding of the KSU organizational culture, strategic goals and objective, and overall mission as a university.
• To band together Faculty and Staff in a learning experience that will give each participant a sense of value to their leadership roles on campus and how everyone, regardless or their specific role, is a major factor to the success of KSU.
• To provide continued opportunities for lifelong learning for KSU Excel graduates through yearly seminars and workshops that address, among other things, current issues in higher education.
• To provide visibility and recognition for Faculty and Staff through projects and programs from KSU Excel.
