Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Mathematics Education: This is an open rank tenure-track position in the Department of Secondary and Middle Grades Education in mathematics education. The successful candidate will be able to contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs for middle and secondary mathematics teachers. Graduate programs with a specialization in mathematics education include a Master of Education, a Master of Arts in Teaching (alternative certification), and an earned doctorate. Candidates should have at least 18 graduate course work hours in the field of mathematics with expertise in mathematics education and a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in grades 4-12. Prior experience of chairing or serving on doctoral dissertation committees is desirable. Rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
