Position Title:
Associate or Full Professor, tenure eligible in academic department appropriate to background and experience
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a twelve-month, administrative faculty position (tenure eligible) at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in environmental studies, environmental policy, or a related natural science discipline. A demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability and experience in teaching, advocacy and coordination of sustainable practices are required.

The Director of Sustainability will teach at least two courses a year related to environmental studies and provide informal education in environmental awareness to Kennesaw State University’s students, staff and faculty.

In addition this position serves as a sustainability consultant for the entire Kennesaw State University community, working alongside relevant operations offices to ensure that the University considers and implements environmentally sustainable practices regarding energy, water, purchasing, green space preservation, transportation, recycling and waste management.
