Position Title:
Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting
Position  Qualifications/ Responsibilities:

Kennesaw State University, a growing and progressive university in Georgia’s public system of higher education, invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Accountancy. The business programs within the Coles College of Business are fully accredited by AACSB-International. Located on an attractive campus in suburban NW metropolitan Atlanta, Kennesaw State University enrolls approximately 20,000 baccalaureate, masters and doctoral students and is engaged in an impressive array of research and professional service initiatives.

The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate effectiveness in teaching and in research activities leading to publications in quality refereed journals. It is expected that the ideal candidate would begin on the Research Track, with a 6-hour teaching load per semester.

In addition to the position above, a second nine-month, tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting in the School of Accountancy also may be available, pending funding. This second position would be more teaching-focused, with a 9-hour teaching load per semester and lower research expectations. This candidate would begin on the Balanced Track.

Both positions are pending budget approval.
